Adani Submits ₹15,000-Crore Plan for Jaiprakash Associates
Adani Enterprises, a company owned by billionaire Gautam Adani, has submitted a plan to buy Jaiprakash Associates, a company that is in financial trouble.
The plan is worth ₹15,000 crore and was approved by most of the creditors, who are the people or companies that Jaiprakash Associates owes money to.
The plan includes paying some money upfront and the rest over two years.
If approved, Adani will get a lot of assets, including land, cement factories, hotels, and other businesses.
The court will now check if the plan follows all the rules and is fair to everyone before making a final decision.
