YSRCP leader Jakkampudi Raja accused the Andhra Pradesh government of watching and pressuring people who criticize it.

He said young people asking for jobs and promised benefits were being targeted.

He also alleged that police and other agencies were monitoring social-media users and online groups.

Raja said coaching centres were facing inspections and pressure.

He criticized police action against women paramedical students in Tirupati who wanted stipends.

He said the government should answer questions instead of suppressing protesters.

Raja also claimed the State was in serious financial trouble and relying heavily on borrowing.
