DDA Sells 65% of Narela Flats in Days
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) sold 65% of 1,165 flats in Narela in just a week.
These flats are part of the Karmayogi Awaas Yojana 2025, a scheme for government employees offering a 25% discount.
All one-bedroom flats and many two and three-bedroom flats were sold quickly.
The DDA thinks the demand is high because the flats are ready to move in, the area is becoming more connected, and government employees like living near each other.
The DDA plans to sell more flats soon with similar discounts.
65% of 1,165 flats offered by DDA in Narela sold within a week.
All 319 one-bedroom flats, 333 of 552 two-bedroom, and 106 of 271 three-bedroom flats sold.
Rs 489 crore revenue generated, with one-bedroom flats fully sold on the first day.
Demand attributed to 25% discount, improved connectivity, and targeted marketing to government employees.
DDA plans to launch additional housing schemes with discounts for remaining flats.
