Maharashtra Gramin Bank Announces Digital Service Downtime
Imagine two banks, Maharashtra Gramin Bank and Vidarbha Konkan Gramin Bank, decided to become one big bank.
To make this happen, they need to combine their computer systems.
This is called integrating the Core Banking System (CBS).
During this time, which is from September 13 to September 16, 2025, some banking services like ATMs, online banking, and money transfers will not work as usual.
This is because the bank is updating its systems.
The bank asks customers to plan their money needs during this period.
Everything should be back to normal with better services after September 15, 2025.
Maharashtra Gramin Bank is integrating its CBS with Vidarbha Konkan Gramin Bank.
The merger of the banks was effective from May 1, 2025.
Digital banking services will be temporarily unavailable during the integration.
The downtime is scheduled for September 13 to September 16, 2025.
Customers are advised to plan for potential service interruptions.
