Chef Piyush Menon Launches Kolkata Supper Club With Sadya
Chef Piyush Menon opened a new supper club called Mach and Meen in Kolkata.
He began with a special meal called a Sadya.
A Sadya is served on a large banana leaf with many small portions.
The meal included crunchy banana chips, vegetables, pickles and coconut-based dishes.
Guests ate the food with red rice and tried different combinations.
Prawns and mutton were also served because Menon is known for seafood and meat cooking.
Menon explained the dishes and why they belonged on the leaf.
The meal finished with drinks, sweets and a banana.

The meal ended with pepper rasam, spiced buttermilk, Ada Pradhaman, Pal Payasam and ripe Nendran banana.
