TTD Calls for Awareness on Recycle Machines in Tirumala
The TTD, which looks after the Tirumala temple, had a meeting to talk about special recycling machines.
These machines, called Reklaim Deposit Refund machines, were first put in a new building for visitors in September.
They let people put in empty drink containers instead of throwing them away.
The officials want to put more of these machines in important places in Tirumala.
They also want to tell everyone, especially the traders and drink sellers, to spread the word about these machines.
This is to help keep Tirumala clean and protect the environment.
Everyone is asked to join in this 'Swachh Tirumala' activity.
TTD additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary held a meeting to discuss setting up more Reklaim Recycle machines in Tirumala.
The machines were initially set up in the Pilgrim Accommodation Complex-5 (PAC-5) in September and received a positive response.
The machines aim to improve cleanliness by encouraging devotees to deposit tetra packs and tins instead of littering.
Officials instructed to create awareness among devotees and install more machines in key areas of Tirumala.
Traders and tetrapack dealers were asked to spread awareness about the recycle machines among the public.
