UP to Grant Land Ownership to Bangladeshi Refugee Families
Imagine families who came from Bangladesh a long time ago and settled in Pilibhit, India.
They were given land to live on, but they never officially owned it.
This meant they couldn't get some help from the government.
Now, after 62 years, the government is finally giving these families legal ownership of their land.
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh gave the order, and the officials are preparing the documents.
This will help over 2,000 families in 25 villages, allowing them to have official rights to their homes and farms.
