Amazon India Seller Services Reports First Positive PBIT

Amazon’s Indian marketplace business earned more money in FY26 than it did the year before.

Its income increased by 15.5% to ₹35,574 crore.

For the first time in India, the business made an operating profit before interest and tax.

That profit was ₹172 crore.

The company still had an overall loss after tax, but the loss became smaller.

Amazon plans to invest $48 billion in India from 2026 to 2030.

It will use the investment to grow online shopping, fast delivery, cloud services, and artificial intelligence.

Amazon is also expanding its quick-delivery service, Amazon Now, to more than 300 cities.
