Jemimah Rodrigues Excited for Inaugural Women's Champions Trophy
Jemimah Rodrigues is a cricket player for India.
She is very excited about a new big cricket competition called the ICC Women's Champions Trophy.
This will be the first time ever that women play in this competition.
It will happen in Sri Lanka in February 2027.
Jemimah says her mindset will not change, because it is always about helping her team win.
She says her team has tasted success before and now wants more of it.
Before the Champions Trophy, India will play a series against South Africa in December.
Jemimah also played in a competition called The Hundred, where she hurt her leg with a hamstring injury.
Even with the injury, she helped her team, Southern Brave, reach the playoffs by winning two Player of the Match awards.
Now she is working hard to get fit in time for the Women's Asia Cup.
The inaugural ICC Women's Champions Trophy will be held in Sri Lanka from February 14 to 28, 2027.
India batter Jemimah Rodrigues said her mindset of making the team win remains unchanged for the tournament.
India will tour South Africa for a competitive multi-format bilateral series in December before the Champions Trophy.
Rodrigues' The Hundred 2026 stint with Southern Brave was cut short by a hamstring injury after two Player of the Match performances.
