Former Teacher Arrested in Alleged Mumbai Fake Currency Racket

Police in Mumbai arrested a man and his former teacher.

The man was 38 years old, and the teacher was 55.

Police said they were allegedly involved in selling fake Indian money.

Officers said they caught the pair near Metro Cinema.

They reportedly found fake notes worth Rs 10.64 lakh.

The notes were all in Rs 500 denominations.

Police said the man had once learned from the woman as a tuition student.

Investigators alleged that he later asked her to help with the scheme.
