AP Tech Education Board Receives NCVET Recognition
The Andhra Pradesh technical education board, SBTET, got a special approval from the NCVET.
This means the board can now create its own training programs and test if students are good at them.
It's the first time this has happened in South India.
They signed an agreement to make it official.
This means students will learn skills that companies need.
The approval will help students get jobs in India and even other countries.
This also supports government programs that help people learn new skills, and helps students to have more options for education.
The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) recognized the AP State Board of Technical Education & Training (SBTET).
This recognition makes Andhra Pradesh the first technical education authority in South India with this status.
An MoU was signed between SBTET and NCVET.
The recognition allows SBTET to design skill development curricula and conduct assessments.
This aims to improve job prospects for students.
