Andhra Pradesh Clears 76 Acres for Puttaparthi Airport Expansion

Andhra Pradesh Clears 76 Acres for Puttaparthi Airport Expansion

The Andhra Pradesh government decided to free up 76 acres of land that was previously off-limits.

This land is owned by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and is near the Puttaparthi airport.

The government wants a company called SSS Aerospace to build a big airport and aerospace center there.

They plan to make the runway longer, add a control tower, and give the airport special equipment for testing planes.

The new airport will help both regular airlines and the military test new aircraft.

The company will need to agree with the state and the defence ministry to use the runway.

This move is expected to turn Puttaparthi into a new hub for aviation and aerospace work.
