Top 4 Penny Stocks That Outperformed in 2025
In 2025, the Indian stock market had a good year, but not as good as some other markets around the world.
The main stock index, the Nifty, went up by 10.7%.
However, some smaller companies, called penny stocks, did much better.
Four of these stocks stood out.
Shukra Pharma, which makes medicines, saw its stock price go up by 314%.
GRM Overseas, which sells rice, had a 143% increase.
AB Infrabuild, which builds roads and bridges, went up by 107%.
And Arfin India, which deals with metals, had a 104% rise.
These companies did well because of things like better sales, foreign investors buying their stocks, and new business deals.
But investing in these stocks can be risky because they can change a lot in price and might not always be a safe bet.
Indian equity markets closed 2025 with the Nifty gaining 10.7%, marking a tenth consecutive winning year.
Despite positive returns, Indian equities underperformed several global and emerging market peers.
Four penny stocks outperformed: Shukra Pharma (314% rally), GRM Overseas (143% rally), AB Infrabuild (107% rally), and Arfin India (104% rally).
Shukra Pharma's strong performance attributed to improved financials and a new MoU for AI-enabled surgical robots.
GRM Overseas saw significant FII buying and announced a 2:1 bonus share issue, with ambitious revenue growth targets.
