IAS Officer Vanishes After Reaching Bengaluru Airport, Mobile Switched Off
IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar went to Bengaluru airport because he said he was travelling to Delhi.
After reaching the airport, he turned off his mobile phone.
His family and officials could no longer contact him.
Police know that he reached the airport but do not know whether he boarded a flight.
They are checking cameras and other records to find out where he went.
The disappearance happened one day after an Enforcement Directorate raid.
That raid was connected to an investigation into irregularities in a KPSC recruitment examination.
Officials are also examining Kumar’s earlier role at the Karnataka Public Service Commission.
