Reliance Denies Russian Oil Shipments to Jamnagar
Reliance Industries, a big company in India, said that news reports about Russian oil ships coming to its Jamnagar refinery are not true.
They explained that they haven't received any Russian oil in the last three weeks and don't expect any in January.
The company was upset because they had already told the news organizations that they weren't buying Russian oil, but the wrong information was still published.
They called the reports 'blatantly untrue' and said it hurt their reputation.
Meanwhile, Reliance's share price fell by 5% after hitting a 52-week high, possibly due to profit booking and concerns over crude oil sourcing.
The company also reported a 9.6% increase in net profit for the second quarter of the financial year.
