Minister Emotional Over District Reorganization
A minister in India got very sad during a meeting because a decision was made to change the main town of a district.
The minister felt bad for the people of the town, Rayachoti, because they were left out.
The leader of the state, the Chief Minister, said he understood their feelings and promised to help the town grow.
The minister said he was sorry and that every tear he shed was for the future of Rayachoti.

The minister expressed deep anguish and apologized to the people of Rayachoti, admitting responsibility for the outcome.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu acknowledged the minister's concerns and assured him of the government's sensitivity to the people's sentiments.
The decision was influenced by public representations from Railway Kodur and Rajampet, which sought inclusion in Tirupati and Kadapa districts, respectively.
The minister clarified that the November 27 gazette notification did not mention any change to the district headquarters and that no such proposal was discussed during the objection period.
