Goregaon-Mulund Link Road Flyover to Open May 2026
Imagine a new road is being built in Mumbai to make it easier to travel between Goregaon and Mulund!
It's called the Goregaon Mulund Link Road, and a big part of it is a flyover (an elevated road).
This flyover will be 1.2 kilometers long with six lanes for cars, starting near Dindoshi court and going towards the Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
It's being built by the city government and is expected to be ready by May 2026.
The entire project, including tunnels and other roads, is planned to be finished by 2029.
Right now, it takes over an hour to travel between these areas, but the new road should reduce that time to about 25 minutes!
The first flyover of the Goregaon Mulund Link Road (GMLR) project will be ready by May 2026.
The flyover will connect Goregaon and Mulund in Mumbai.
The project is being built by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The flyover will be 1.2 km long and have six lanes.
The overall GMLR project is set to be operational by 2029.
