Karnataka Dy CM Alleges Election Commission Unfair to Bihar Voters
A leader from the Congress party in Karnataka, who is also a Deputy Chief Minister, visited New Delhi to present signatures collected from people in his state.
He claimed that the people who manage elections in India, called the Election Commission, were not fair to voters in a state called Bihar.
He said that the names of many poor people and those who leave their homes to find work were removed from the list of who can vote.
He believes the Election Commission admitted they made a mistake.
He thinks this is wrong and wants to make sure everyone's vote is protected.
He wants everyone to know about these issues to save democracy.
Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar accused the Election Commission of injustice towards Bihar voters.
He alleged that names of poor voters and those migrating for jobs were deleted from electoral rolls during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).

He stated that the Election Commission's decision to conduct the SIR implies an admission of having made errors.
