Anthropic Launches Claude for Healthcare

Anthropic, a company that makes AI tools, has launched a new service called Claude for Healthcare.

This service helps doctors and patients use AI for medical things.

Claude can connect to important medical databases and help people understand their health information.

It can summarize medical history, explain test results, and even help prepare questions for doctor visits.

The service is private and only uses the information that people choose to share.

Right now, it's only available in the US for people who have a special Claude plan.

Some features are still in testing and will be available soon.

Another company, OpenAI, also recently launched a similar service called ChatGPT Health.

Anthropic is working with big healthcare providers like Banner Health and is valued at $350 billion.

They make sure the AI is safe and follows rules to protect health data.
