Delhi's Cleanest Ward To Get Rs 1 Crore Every Month

Delhi's Cleanest Ward To Get Rs 1 Crore Every Month

Delhi's leader wants the city to be much cleaner.

She started a special game for neighborhoods, which are called wards.

Every month, the cleanest ward wins a big prize of 1 crore rupees.

But there is a catch: if someone complains about garbage in that ward, it can lose its chance to win.

Judges will look at reports from an independent agency, checks by officials, and complaints from people or social media.

The campaign has a special name and will run for a whole year.

There will also be special cleaning days for slums, parks, hospitals, and schools.

The city is getting new sweeping machines and waste collection centres to help.

The leader said keeping the city clean is a job for every citizen, not just one department.
