Developer to Rebuild Homes Free After Structural Defect
A real estate developer in Bengaluru, SNN Raj Corp, has decided to rebuild 49 apartment blocks in their project, SNN Raj Etternia, at no cost to the buyers.
This decision comes after a mistake in soil testing led to a structural defect in one of the residential towers.
The developer will demolish the affected blocks, which will take about six months, and then rebuild them over the next 18 months.
The company has assured that the home buyers will not have to bear any additional costs, and they have already approached the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) to inform them of the situation.
The total number of units in the project is 972, out of which 822 have already been handed over to buyers.
