ESPN Brings RedZone-Style Multi-Court Coverage to US Open

ESPN Brings RedZone-Style Multi-Court Coverage to US Open

ESPN is creating a new way to watch the U.S. Open.

The service will show what is happening on all 16 courts at the same time.

A special team will decide which match deserves attention.

They may show famous players or less well-known players on the outer courts.

A match involving unfamiliar players could be shown if it reaches an exciting point.

The idea is similar to NFL RedZone, which moves between football games.

The tennis broadcast will include some advertisements.

ESPN plans to offer the service from August 30 to September 4.
