Review of The Hunt: Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Files
The Hunt is a new show about the investigation into the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
It shows how the police tried to find the people responsible.
The show is made well, with good actors and music.
However, it could have explained more about why the assassination happened, like the history of the place.
It is like a mystery of how the crime happened and who did it but it doesn't really tell us why.
It is based on a book called 90 Days.
The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Files, a crime procedural, chronicles the investigation following Rajiv Gandhi's assassination in 1991.
The series is based on Anirudhya Mitra’s book 90 Days and focuses on the Special Investigation Team (SIT).
The show is well-produced, featuring strong performances and a compelling background score.
The series could have benefited from providing more historical and political context regarding the assassination.
The show unfolds as a 'whodunnit', exploring the 'how' and 'who' of the assassination, rather than the 'why'.
