Mental Hospital Inmates Begin Rehabilitation Program
Some people in a mental hospital who didn't have families to go home to are getting help to live normal lives.
The hospital is working with a special program called MITRA to teach them skills.
Fifteen men are the first to move to a new place where they'll learn and get support.
The goal is for them to be able to live and work in the community.
The hospital has helped many people before, and there are more people waiting for the same help.
It's like giving them a second chance after they've been through tough times.
15 male inmates from a mental hospital are starting a rehabilitation program.
The inmates will receive vocational training and support for reintegration into society.
The initiative is a partnership between the Regional Mental Hospital and MITRA.
The hospital has successfully rehabilitated 95 patients previously.
Another 78 'unclaimed' patients await rehabilitation.
