Weekly Prayagraj‑Tirunelveli Train to Halt at MP Stations

Indian Railways is running a special train that travels once a week between the cities of Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh and Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu.

The train will start in early August 2026 and will make four trips each way.

While traveling, it will stop at several stations in the state of Madhya Pradesh, like Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, and Itarsi.

The train leaves Prayagraj every Saturday morning and arrives in Tirunelveli the next Monday afternoon.

On the return trip, it leaves Tirunelveli late at night on Monday and reaches Prayagraj early Thursday morning.

This service is meant to help more people travel between these two regions.
