MahaRERA Introduces Hybrid Hearing System for Complaints
Imagine you have a problem with a house or apartment.
The people in charge, MahaRERA, are changing how they hear about these problems.
Now, instead of always going to a physical meeting, you can choose to attend online from your computer or go in person.
This change comes after the High Court told them to allow this.
You'll still file your complaints online like before.
MahaRERA will also make sure all decisions are available online, including the date and time they were made.
This should make things easier for everyone involved in sorting out housing issues.
MahaRERA will implement hybrid hearings for complaints and applications.
The move follows a Bombay High Court directive issued on July 24th.
Parties can choose between physical or virtual hearings.
Online filing and existing procedures will remain in place.
Orders will be time-stamped and accessible online.
