All Trapped Workers Found Dead at El Teniente Mine

Tragically, all five miners trapped in Codelco's El Teniente copper mine have been found dead.

This follows a tunnel collapse caused by a powerful tremor.

Rescue teams worked to clear the blocked passages to recover the missing workers.

The prosecutor from the O’Higgins region confirmed the final body had been found.

This sad event happened last week, and investigations are likely ongoing to determine the exact cause of the collapse.
