India Faces Daunting 549-Run Target
India is playing a cricket test match against South Africa at home in Guwahati.
South Africa scored a lot of runs in their first turn, and India didn't do well in their first turn either, scoring only 201 runs.
South Africa could have asked India to bat again, but they chose not to.
They scored more runs in their second turn and set a very big target of 549 runs for India to win.
The only good thing for India was that Kuldeep Yadav, who is usually a bowler, stayed at the crease for a long time, showing that the Indian batters need to improve.
India is now in a tough position and might lose the match.
Ravindra Jadeja, an Indian bowler, did well by taking four wickets in the second innings.
India scored 201 runs in their first innings, trailing South Africa by 288 runs.
South Africa declared their second innings at 260/5, setting a target of 549 runs for India to win.
Ravindra Jadeja took four wickets in the second innings, becoming the second left-arm spinner to take 50-plus wickets against South Africa post-WWII.
Tristan Stubbs scored 94 runs in South Africa's second innings before being dismissed by Jadeja.
India is at risk of losing their second home Test series against a top side.
