Deadliest Bus Crash Kills 35 on Yemen's Mountain Road
Imagine two cars going very fast on a curvy mountain road in a country called Yemen.
One car was a bus carrying many people who were coming back home from another country.
The two cars crashed head-on, which is like crashing front-to-front.
It was so bad that both cars caught fire and burned up completely.
Sadly, many people inside the cars did not survive because of the crash and the fire.
Only a few people were able to escape by breaking the windows and jumping out.
This accident was one of the worst traffic accidents in Yemen in a long time, and sadly, there have been other bad accidents there recently too.
Yemen has many traffic accidents because the roads are not always in good condition and safety rules are not always followed.
At least 35 people were killed and seven injured in a bus crash on Yemen's Al Arqoub mountain road.
The accident involved a passenger bus carrying travelers returning from Saudi Arabia and another vehicle.
Both vehicles caught fire after the collision, burning completely and charring many victims.
Preliminary causes point to excessive speed and brake failure.
The incident is considered Yemen's deadliest traffic accident in recent years, with factors like poor roads and weak safety regulations contributing to high accident rates.
