TGMC Identifies Four Unauthorised Clinics During Kamareddy Inspections

The Telangana State Medical Council inspected clinics in Kamareddy town.

It said four clinics were operating without proper authorisation.

The council also said the people running them did not have recognised medical qualifications.

The clinics were accused of giving patients injections and antibiotics.

The inspections were led by two senior council officials.

The checks were part of an effort to find unqualified practitioners and unauthorised clinics.

The council is starting criminal cases and other legal action.

The action will use provisions of the TMPR Act and the National Medical Commission Act.
