Rupee falls 13 paise to 95.30 against US dollar

The rupee is the money used in India, and the dollar is the money used in America.

When people trade between countries, they compare these two kinds of money.

On Monday, the rupee became a little less valuable compared to the dollar.

It fell by 13 paise, which is a small amount of Indian money.

That means one dollar now buys a bit more rupees than before.

The rupee closed the day at 95.30 against the dollar.

This happened partly because oil prices around the world went up.

It also happened because talks in West Asia did not make progress.

Some foreign investors putting money into India helped a little.

By the end of the day, the rupee was trading in a small range, moving between 95.18 and 95.32.
