ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 Delivers Power at a Heavy Price
The ASUS ROG Strix SCAR 18 is a very powerful laptop made for gaming and creative work.
It has a large, bright screen that can show games and videos smoothly.
Its graphics and processor are among the most powerful options described in the review.
The reviewer says demanding games ran smoothly, and the laptop handled high-resolution video editing well.
The computer is very heavy, weighing 3.73 kilograms.
Its battery may last about an hour during demanding gaming or video work.
The large charger adds more weight when carrying it.
In India, it costs between ₹4,89,990 and ₹6,99,990.
It may suit people who want desktop-like power in a laptop and can accept the price and weight.
The 2026 SCAR 18 weighs 3.73 kg and is designed more as a movable desktop replacement than a portable laptop.
Its 18-inch 4K Mini LED display offers a 240Hz refresh rate, up to 1,200 nits brightness and 100% DCI-P3 coverage.
The reviewed configuration pairs an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and 64GB of DDR5 RAM.
The reviewer reports smooth performance in demanding games and strong capabilities for 4K and 8K video-editing workflows.
Indian prices range from ₹4,89,990 to ₹6,99,990; intensive use can drain the 90Wh battery in about an hour.
