Air India Flight Returns Due to Technical Issue
An Air India plane flying from Delhi to Mumbai had to turn back to Delhi because of a technical problem.
The plane landed safely, and no one was hurt.
The government is looking into what happened.
Air India is helping the passengers get to Mumbai on other flights.
This is not the first time Air India has had problems.
Earlier, another Air India plane crashed, and many people died.
Another airline, IndiGo, has been doing well and carrying more passengers than Air India.
IndiGo also had some problems but is now doing better.
The government is also letting IndiGo use planes from Turkey for a while because there are not enough planes in India.
Air India flight AI-887 returned to Delhi due to a technical issue shortly after takeoff.
The aircraft landed safely, and passengers were accommodated on subsequent flights.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation and DGCA are investigating the incident.
IndiGo has overtaken Air India in international passenger traffic for the July-September 2025 quarter.
IndiGo has secured a third extension to lease two Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and crew from Turkish Airlines.
