Apple Plans Touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro for 2026
Apple is working on a new MacBook Pro that will have a touchscreen.
This is a big change for Apple, which hasn't put touchscreens on its laptops before.
The new MacBook will use an OLED display and will be ready in early 2027.
The touch technology will be built into the screen, likely supplied by Samsung.
Apple also plans a cheaper MacBook, which will not initially have a touchscreen.
The reason for this change is that Apple has seen how useful touchscreens are on iPads and wants to improve how users use their MacBooks.
Apple is planning a MacBook Pro with an OLED display and touchscreen.
The touchscreen is expected to use on-cell technology.
Samsung will likely supply the OLED panels.
Mass production is slated for late 2026, with a launch in early 2027.
A budget MacBook model is also in development without a touchscreen.
