Indian Army Veteran Detained, Humiliated at Vancouver Airport
Gurjeet Singh, an Indian Army veteran, was detained at Vancouver Airport, despite having a valid visa.
CBSA officials accused him of being a threat and subjected him to what he claims was psychological abuse and racist behavior.
He was shown propaganda and was reportedly denied water for a long time and kept in detention.
The CBSA also tried to get him to use a lower rank title, seen as disrespectful.
Despite family efforts, he was deported back to India.
The CBSA stated they can take action against individuals who may be inadmissible.
