Jitu Patwari Demands Action After Suspected Liquor Deaths

Jitu Patwari Demands Action After Suspected Liquor Deaths

Jitu Patwari, a Congress leader in Madhya Pradesh, criticized the state government after people died after allegedly drinking poisonous liquor in Sagar.

He said illegal liquor sellers and drug mafias were becoming stronger.

Patwari said he had already warned Chief Minister Mohan Yadav about these problems.

He asked the government to arrest the people responsible within 24 hours.

He also said the government should examine its own responsibility if the deaths reached 15.

The report gives two different death counts: six in one cited account and 15 in Patwari’s remarks.

Patwari was speaking in Gwalior after arriving for several programmes.

He also said Rahul Gandhi would visit Indore on September 19 to discuss education, jobs and higher-education opportunities.
