Christian leaders request land for community hall
Some Christian leaders in Ongole, a city in India, met with their local representative, the MLA, on Monday.
They asked for a piece of land about the size of four football fields to build a community hall.
This hall would be used for weddings, health camps, and other helpful activities for the community.
The leaders were happy because the MLA said yes to their request.
Now, they will work with the government to make this happen.
The leaders who met with the MLA included Rev Sikka Issac Babu, Pastor Bhagavandas, Yellutla Varun Teja, and Kollam Pranay Kumar.
The Ongole United Pastors Union met with Ongole MLA Damacharla Janardhana Rao to request four acres of land for a Christian Community Hall.
