Private banks can now provide Capital Gains account · thehindubusinessline.com

The government has made big changes to the Capital Gains Account Scheme.

Now, you can deposit money from selling a house or business into these special accounts online, using your credit/debit card, net banking, or other digital payment methods.

This makes it easier for people living abroad or in remote areas to save on capital gains tax.
