Media Walks Out During NDA Parade
For the first time ever, journalists decided to leave a special event at the National Defence Academy (NDA) because they were not treated well.
They were not given proper access to cover the event and felt disrespected.
The journalists have been covering the NDA's events for many years and have always given positive reports.
Now, they are complaining to the higher authorities to make sure this doesn't happen again and to restore the good relationship between the NDA and the press.
Media staged a walkout during the NDA passing out parade for the first time in history.
Journalists were denied proper access and felt disrespected by officials.
The Pune Union of Working Journalists (PUWJ) protested against the treatment.
A formal complaint has been sent to the CDS, MoD, CMO, and the NDA Commandant.
The journalists demand accountability and restoration of mutual respect between the NDA and the press.
