AP Private Hospitals to Halt Services Over Unpaid Dues
Some private hospitals in Andhra Pradesh are going to stop providing certain free healthcare services because they haven't been paid by the government on time.
They say the government owes them a lot of money.
They are upset because the payments are supposed to come in about 45 days but are taking much longer.
The hospitals want the government to pay them the money they're owed and give them a timeline for when they will receive the remaining money.
Private hospitals to halt NTR Vaidya Seva services starting October 10th.
Hospitals cite delayed payments for medical services provided under the scheme.
ASHA demands immediate release of Rs 670 crore in pending dues.
Total dues owed to hospitals are approximately Rs 2,700 crore.
Doctors will not attend government discussions until the Rs 670 crore is released.
