India Sends Relief, Tunnel Experts and Bridges to Flood-Hit Nepal

India Sends Relief, Tunnel Experts and Bridges to Flood-Hit Nepal

Severe floods damaged parts of Nepal on Wednesday.

The floods hurt roads, bridges, settlements and hydropower facilities.

Some workers may still be trapped inside underground tunnels.

Nepalese rescuers have already saved 191 workers.

Mud, blocked entrances and bad weather are making the searches difficult.

India sent 68.5 tonnes of supplies to help people affected by the floods.

India also sent doctors, paramedics, tunnel engineers and forensic experts.

The forensic experts can help with DNA testing if needed.

India is sending bridge equipment so transport routes can be reopened.
