Six Devotees Killed by Train at Chunar Station While Crossing Tracks
Six women were tragically hit and killed by a fast-moving train at a train station in Uttar Pradesh.
They had gotten off a train and were trying to cross the train tracks to reach the other side, instead of using the bridge meant for people to walk over.
While they were crossing, another train came through the station very quickly and struck them.
The women were on their way to take a holy bath in the Ganga river for a religious occasion.
Their families are very upset and some believe the accident happened because there weren't enough security guards at the station to help people cross safely.
The railway police say they did have officers there.
