RGPV Seeks Info on ₹116 Crore FD Mismatch
Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) in Bhopal is looking into a big money problem.
They think there is a difference of ₹116 crore in their bank accounts compared to what should be there from their fixed deposits (FDs).
The university has asked several banks for more information.
They have also done a special check (forensic audit) that found other money issues.
The university's boss, Professor SC Choubey, said they will punish anyone who did something wrong.
The state government is also watching this situation closely and might take serious action if needed.
RGPV has identified a ₹116 crore mismatch in the matured value of 800 FDs across six banks.
A forensic audit revealed additional financial irregularities.
