Let Us Salute India's Complete Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja! · rediff.com

Ravindra Jadeja is a cricketer who plays for India.

In cricket, players can be good at batting, bowling, or fielding, and Jadeja is excellent at all three, which makes him an all-rounder.

He just did something very special: he scored more than 4,000 runs and took more than 350 wickets in Test cricket, the longest form of the game.

Only one other Indian player, Kapil Dev, has ever done that before him.

He reached this milestone on August 17, 2026, during a match in Galle, Sri Lanka.

When Jadeja was a little boy in Jamnagar, Gujarat, his family was poor, but his coach Mahendrasinh Chauhan helped him train from the age of eight.

Now, more than 400 children train every day at his old ground, hoping to become like him.

Even though he is 37 years old, he is still playing brilliantly and helping his team win matches.
