Bharat Taxi Model Set for Uttar Pradesh Village Expansion
Bharat Taxi is a new transportation service launched in four Uttar Pradesh cities.
Drivers do not have to pay the platform a commission for each ride.
Taxi, bike and three-wheeler drivers can join the service.
Participants are also promised social security of Rs 5 lakh.
The state government now wants to use a similar idea for buses in villages.
This could give villagers more ways to travel.
