NTA to Re-conduct UGC-NET Papers After Multiple Errors Found

The National Testing Agency is a group in India that runs big tests for students, including one called UGC-NET.

After the June 2026 test, students complained that three papers - English, Commerce, and Sociology - had many mistakes.

Some questions were repeated from older tests, and some famous thinkers' names were spelled wrong.

The agency checked the papers and found lots of errors.

It decided to hold those three tests all over again.

The new tests will happen on September 9 and September 10, 2026.

Students will not have to pay any extra money to take the tests again.

The other test subjects will still get their results on time.

The agency wants to make sure all students are treated fairly and that the tests are correct.
