Delhi Approves Major Road Projects
The Delhi government has approved four big road projects to make traffic better and roads safer.
They will build a new flyover on Janakpuri-Pankha Road and fix two old flyovers, Zakhira and Seelampur.
The Zakhira flyover often gets flooded during the rain, so they will make it stronger and fix the parts that are damaged.
The Seelampur flyover, which is quite old, will also get repairs to make it last longer.
Additionally, they approved a Rs 1,471-crore double-decker corridor to decongest Mehrauli-Badarpur (MB) Road.
This corridor will have a Metro line on the upper deck and a six-lane flyover below.
The project is expected to be completed by December 2027 and will help more than one lakh vehicles that use this stretch daily.
The government is using new technology and setting strict rules to make sure the work is done well and on time.
This is all part of their plan to improve roads in Delhi.
