Bal Vatikas to Launch in PM Shri Schools to Boost Education
The government is starting 'Bal Vatikas' (kindergartens) in 237 schools to help young kids learn before they start primary school.
This is because they want to make sure all kids have a good start in education.
The program includes fun activities like painting, games, and stories to help children aged 3-6 learn and grow.
They will also check how the kids are doing and give them healthy food.
They will also work with existing childcare centers (anganwadis) to help with monitoring nutrition and early education.
The goal is to help kids do better in all their classes, starting from the very beginning.
Bal Vatikas will be launched in 237 PM Shri schools.
The ECCE task force made the decision during a meeting last week.
Anganwadi centres will be mapped to schools for monitoring of ECCE activities.
Capacity-building training will be provided to anganwadi workers.
The program aims to strengthen primary education.
