UPL Wins Best Patent Portfolio Award
UPL, a big company that makes things for farmers, won a special award for having the best collection of patents in the areas of life science and agriculture.
This award is given by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and recognizes companies that are really good at creating, protecting, and using their ideas to grow their business.
UPL has over 3,000 patents already approved and about 4,400 more waiting to be approved.
This shows that they are doing a lot of research to help farmers and make new things that can solve problems for farmers and help communities.
The award is a big deal because it shows that UPL is doing a great job at being innovative and coming up with new ideas.
