Indian Railways is spending a lot of money to improve train travel in Rajasthan.

The work includes upgrading stations and adding better facilities for passengers.

Eighty-five stations are being redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station programme.

Jaipur Railway Station is receiving a separate upgrade costing Rs 717 crore.

It will have another entrance, new footbridges, lifts and escalators.

Some facilities will be air-conditioned to make travel more comfortable.

The station will also use solar power, collect rainwater and improve waste disposal.

A new terminal will help maintain many kinds of trains, including Vande Bharat and other train rakes.
